When in the field, hunters are typically side-by-side. In a boat, you should be positioned back-to-back. Having hunters fire in opposite directions maintains the boat’s stability. Hunters should not fire to the same side. The double, unbalanced recoil will tip the boat in the opposite directions, and you may capsize.
