Field Dressing Techniques

There are different techniques on how to gut your big game animal and get it cooled off, including a method of quartering the animal without actually gutting it. We encourage you to research different methods of field dressing before your hunt.

If you plan to save the hide or cape the animal for mounting, learn where to make the correct cuts to avoid ruining the hide or requiring costly stitching to repair.
