Do the Research

Be sure to do the research necessary to ensure a successful hunt.

1. Obtain the appropriate topographical map(s).

• Determine if you are hunting on private or public lands.
• Reservations and military bases have additional regulations and laws.

2. Research game recognition for the region.

• Even if you have hunted a game species for several years, be sure to determine if there are regional variations for where your hunt will occur.
