The Rest of the 10 Commandments of Firearms Safety

  1. Check your barrel and ammunition (use proper ammunition).
  2. Unload the firearm when not in use.
  3. Point a firearm only at something you intend to shoot.
  4. Don’t run, jump or climb with a loaded firearm.
  5. Store firearms and ammunition separately and safely.
  6. Don’t drink alcoholic beverages before or during shooting.
