Course Outline

One of the top causes of hunting fatalities in Arizona is mistaking your hunting partner for your game. Condition yourself to stay calm and in control. Do not shoot at sounds, movements or shapes. Instead, be sure you verify the game animal and the surrounding environment.

Once you complete your shot, it is easy to get excited when you see your game drop and forget that you may have loaded a second round into the chamber of your gun, either as a conditioned action or because you are using a semi-automatic firearm with a loaded magazine. Control of your firearm does not end with the shot. Ensure you continue to consciously practice T.A.B. +1 after shooting.
