Choosing a Campsite

Camping is a common method of sheltering during hunting season. While many hunters choose to stay in motels, hotels and cabins close to their hunting units, and others may hunt from their homes, most hunters make camping a part of their hunt plan.

Hunters are advised to keep in mind several considerations when choosing a campsite: Is it lawful, safe and prudent to make camp in the chosen spot?
