How do I get my Hunter Education Certificate?
1. Attend the Initial Classroom Session
Go to https://apps.nd.gov/gnf/onlineservices/lic/public/online/main.htm and sign up for an instructor-led Initial Classroom Session. During the Initial Classroom Session, you will fill out a registration card and receive materials and instructions needed to complete hunter education. You will also be given a date, time, and location for the Final Classroom Session. You will then have two weeks to complete the online portion of the class.
Important! Bring your Online Completion Voucher to the Classroom Session as proof of having completed the online course.
You must attend the Initial Classroom Session before beginning the online course.
2. Study and pass the online course.
Study and pass the $15.00 course. Throughout the North Dakota Hunter Ed Course, you’ll be tested on what you’ve learned.
3. Get your Hunter Education Certificate.
You’ll receive your permanent Hunter Education Certificate after successfully completing the Final Classroom Session. The Hunter Education Certificate will be mailed to you by the North Dakota Game and Fish Department.
