Placement of Trail Sets

Locations for trail sets can be found in almost any area.

• Trappers should look for signs (tracks, scat, and hair) to make sure furbearers are using the trails regularly.
• If a constriction or choke points, called a Walkthrough Set, can be located along the trails, these are among the easiest and most productive sets to find and make.
