Course Outline

These are openings under a fence, log, rock, etc. that an animal must crawl under in order to pass through the obstacle.

  • Trappers should create sets that attempt to catch the animal before or after it enters the opening but must be careful to avoid entanglements.
  • Trappers should make sure to anchor the cable restraint so that, when closed, the loop end is at least 12 inches from any barrier and free from obstructions.
