Licenses and Permits

In Pennsylvania, you are required to have:

• A furtaker license to trap coyotes but not to hunt them
• A furtaker license to hunt or trap all other furbearers
• A permit in addition to a furtaker license to take bobcats, river otters, and fishers
• A certificate showing proof of cable restraint training that must be carried with you at all times while you are setting or tending to cable devices
