Let’s take a look at what happens when a cartridge fires. First, if we take a cross-section of this, you’ll notice that the cartridge is full of gunpowder. When the firing pin hits the primer, it ignites the gunpowder, which propels the bullet out the barrel. Barrels that have rifling cause the bullet to spin. Let’s watch that one more time.
