Fall-Arrest System Safety Guidelines
With a responsible adult present, practice adjusting and using the components of your FAS at ground level before hunting from an elevated stand. Also practice using the suspension relief strap.
No matter which additional components you use with your FAS full-body harness, always use three points of contact with your hands and feet while you are climbing.
If you are using a lifeline system, it should be installed after you install your climbing aids.
Always use an FAS that is rated to your hunting weight, which is you plus all of your hunting equipment.
Due to the risks of injuries or death, hunters who choose not to wear and use their FAS properly should stay on the ground to hunt.
