Burn boss

Determine who will serve as the burn boss. This is usually the landowner or the individual with the most prescribed fire experience. The responsibility for the fire and for coordinating all the personnel on the burn lies with the burn boss. Ensure that all members of the crew understand their role and how to use their assigned equipment.
