   After passing the West Virginia Hunter Safety Course, you’ll pay the $24.50 course fee and immediately print out your Practical Exam Voucher, which you will need for the Practical (hands-on) and Written Test.

2. Sign Up and Attend the Required Practical (hands-on) and Written Test

3. Receive Your West Virginia Hunter Education Card

   After successfully completing the Practical (hands-on) and Written Test, your permanent West Virginia Hunter Education Card will be issued to you by the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources.

Pass the 9 Unit Quizzes

As you progress through the course, you’ll be given the opportunity to demonstrate how well you’re understanding the hunter safety topics by taking a quiz at the end of each unit (chapter).

You’ll need to score 80% or greater on the unit quiz before moving on to the next unit.

If you don’t pass a unit quiz, that’s no problem. You can study until you feel you are ready to take the quiz again.

The Practical Exam Voucher

After passing all the unit quizzes with a score of 80% or greater you will have demonstrated successful mastery of the classroom portion of the West Virginia hunter safety course material, you will receive your Practical Exam Voucher.

You will bring your Practical Exam Voucher to the Practical (hands-on) and Written Test as proof of having completed and passed the online course.
