Welcome to the official hunter safety course developed for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADFG).

Alaska Department of Fish and Game This hunter education course, has the same hunter safety content as the Alaska DFG classroom course.

Completing this course will prepare you for the Alaska DFG Field Day

Once you have passed and submitted your payment for the course, immediately print out a Field Day Qualifier Certificate. This certificate will serve as your admittance ticket to the Field Day.

This Hunter Ed online hunter education course has been reviewed and approved by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

Alaska Hunter Education Requirements

If you were born after January 1, 1986, and are 16 years old or older, you must successfully complete a certified Basic Hunter Education course.
If you are younger than 16 years old, you must successfully complete a certified Basic Hunter Education course or hunt under the direct immediate supervision of a licensed hunter who is either 16 years old or older and has successfully completed a certified Hunter Education course or was born on or before January 1, 1986.
This Basic Hunter Education course includes both the online portion and the Alaska DFG Field Day.
