Idaho Hunter Education Requirements

Completion of an approved hunter education course is required for anyone born on or after January 1, 1975.*
You must be at least 10 years old to take the online course.
After passing the online course, students must attend a Field Day provided by the Idaho Fish and Game. (Check availability.)
*Hunter Education Requirement Exemptions: an education course is not required if an individual has previously held a valid hunting license in Idaho or any other state.
