3. Receive Your Virginia Hunter Education Certificate

   After successfully completing the Classroom Session, your permanent Virginia Hunter Education Certificate will be issued to you by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.

This official training program is developed to meet the standards for hunter training established by the International Hunter Education Association (IHEA).

This official training program will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to be a safe and responsible hunter in Virginia.

Pass the 9 Unit Quizzes

As you progress through the course, you’ll be given the opportunity to demonstrate how well you’re understanding the hunter safety topics by taking a quiz at the end of each unit (chapter).

You’ll need to score 80% or greater on the unit quiz before moving on to the next unit.

If you don’t pass a unit quiz, that’s no problem. You can study until you feel you are ready to take the quiz again.

The Classroom Session Voucher

After passing all the unit quizzes with a score of 80% or greater you will have demonstrated successful mastery of the classroom portion of the Virginia hunter safety course material, you will receive your Classroom Session Voucher.

You will bring your Classroom Session Voucher to the Classroom Session as proof of having completed and passed the online course.
