1. Study & Pass the Online Course

   After passing the Nevada Hunter Safety Course, you’ll pay the $24.50 course fee and immediately print out your Online Course Completion Confirmation, which you will need for the Final Hunter Education Class.

2. Sign Up and Attend the Required Final Hunter Education Class

   To complete the hunter education requirements for Nevada, you must attend the Final Hunter Education Class portion of the Hunter Ed Safety Course. Learn more about the Final Hunter Education Class.

3. Receive Your Nevada Hunter Education Certificate

   After successfully completing the Final Hunter Education Class, your permanent Nevada Hunter Education Certificate will be issued to you by the Nevada Department of Wildlife.

This official training program is developed to meet the standards for hunter training established by the International Hunter Education Association (IHEA).

This official training program will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to be a safe and responsible hunter in Nevada.

Pass the 9 Unit Quizzes

As you progress through the course, you’ll be given the opportunity to demonstrate how well you’re understanding the hunter safety topics by taking a quiz at the end of each unit (chapter).

You’ll need to score 80% or greater on the unit quiz before moving on to the next unit.

If you don’t pass a unit quiz, that’s no problem. You can study until you feel you are ready to take the quiz again.

The Online Course Completion Confirmation

After passing all the unit quizzes with a score of 80% or greater you will have demonstrated successful mastery of the classroom portion of the Nevada hunter safety course material, you will receive your Online Course Completion Confirmation.

You will bring your Online Course Completion Confirmation to the Final Hunter Education Class as proof of having completed and passed the online course.
