State Requirements for Trapper Education

This online trapper education course is accredited by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (UDWR).
Who Needs the Course?
If you were born after December 31, 1984, you must provide proof that you've passed a furharvester education course approved by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources before you can obtain a furbearer license, a bobcat permit, or a marten permit.
After Passing the Course
Upon successfully completing this course, you may purchase a furbearer permit and apply for bobcat and martin permits. You can purchase a furbearer permit at any Division Office, license vender, or online.
Application for bobcat and martins permits are available online or at any Division Office. You will need your furharvester education certificate of completion.
