Locating and Signing Up for the Hunter Internet Field Day
If you are under 18 years of age or you chose the Hunter Internet Field Day option for this course, you will need to complete the online portion and attend an in-person Hunter Internet Field Day to be certified.
Note: If you chose the online-only course, you do not need to attend the Hunter Internet Field Day.
Locate and sign up for the Hunter Internet Field Day in your area.
Important! Bring your Online-Only Hunter Education Course Completion Certificate to the Hunter Internet Field Day as proof of having completed the online course.
Warning! Passing the online course does not guarantee you a spot at the Hunter Internet Field Day.
What to Expect at the Hunter Internet Field Day
This is 4–6 hours, depending on the number of students attending and will include:
- a classroom session
- outdoor shooting
- blood trailing
- demonstrations of tree stand safety
- survival skills
Most of the classroom topics will pertain to Wisconsin-specific regulations and issues that are not covered in this online course. Be sure to have proper clothing for the outdoor sessions.
After attending and passing the Hunter Internet Field Day portion of the Hunting education requirement, you will receive your Hunter Education Safety Certificate.
