What to Expect at the Field Day

This is currently a 2-hour course due to COVID-19 requirements and will include:

  • Classroom session
  • Live fire session
  • Students will be required to read and acknowledge the Delaware Laws and Regulations presentation located at https://dnrec.alpha.delaware.gov/fish-wildlife/hunter-education/. Students will be tested on the laws and regulations as well as hunting safety topics.
  • Students are required to participate in the live fire portion of the course and must complete a Release From Liability Waiver before taking part in the live fire exercise.

Most of the classroom topics will pertain to Delaware-specific regulations and issues that are not covered in this online course. Be sure to have proper clothing for the outdoor sessions.
