Where to Buy Licenses and Tags

Licenses and tags are available at license dealerships across the state. WDFW has more than 600 license dealers across the state that sell hunting and fishing licenses. You can also purchase your license online. If you purchase online, remember that tags can take 7 to 10 business days to arrive in the mail. If you need a transport tag quickly, go to a license dealer. Look online or call the nearest WDFW Office if you need more information on locating a license dealer in your area.

Before purchasing your initial hunting license, you must show proof of completion of a hunter education course. Most of the time that means going into a license dealer, but you can also send a copy of your certificate to the Licensing Division for entry in the system.
