Course Outline

Saddle hunting is a form of elevated hunting that is lightweight, mobile, and dynamic. Saddle hunting increases the odds of a successful hunt by allowing the hunter to have a larger range of shot opportunities. The basic components include a tree saddle, a tree tether, a lineman belt, a platform, and climbing sticks. The components have been designed to be easily and silently carried into the woods and allows the hunter to select new locations to hunt easily. Once the location is identified, the hunter will use the components to safely climb the tree, set the platform, and sit comfortably in the saddle. The hunter has the ability to shoot 360 degrees around a tree and can hide themselves behind the tree for better coverage when deer are approaching.
