7.3 Crossbow

This is another type of bow, but it generally has not been legal for bowhunting in Washington. Some states allow all hunters to use crossbows. In Washington, persons with a disability who have a special permit are allowed to hunt with crossbows. Washington also is considering letting hunters in special hunting situations use crossbows.

The crossbow is generally unlawful for hunting in Washington.
