7.3 Crossbow

There is another type of bow available, but it is not legal for general bow hunting in Washington. People may own and shoot a crossbow only for recreation or target practice. Some states allow hunters to use crossbows. Washington does not allow crossbows for hunting except for persons with a disability who have a special permit.

The crossbow is generally unlawful for hunting in Washington.
