At the Firearm Hunter Education Field Day, you must successfully complete the remaining course requirements, which include: 4–6 hours of instruction, a field exercise, a live-fire exercise, and Nebraska’s Hunter Education Certification exam.

Hunter Education Certificate

The Hunter Education Certificate is proof that you have successfully completed all the hunter education requirements and can legally hunt in the state of Nebraska.
If you are under 30 years of age, you will receive the Hunter Education Certificate from the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission after successfully completing the Firearm Hunter Education Field Day.
If you are 30 years of age or older, after passing the online Nebraska Licensed Hunter Exam, you'll immediately print out your Temporary Hunter Education Certificate (valid for 30 days). You can get your first copy of the permanent Nebraska Hunter Education Certificate online for free from the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission.
