The Missouri Field Day

In order to complete the Missouri hunter education requirements, you must pass both the online and Field Day portions of the hunter education course.

Important Field Day Information

Locating and Signing Up for the Field Day

After passing the online portion of the Missouri Department of Conservation hunter education course, you will need to locate and sign up for the required Field Day.

To locate and sign up for the Field Day in your area, go to the Missouri Department of Conservation website at http://my.register-ed.com/event/listall?p=3.

Warning! Passing the online course does not guarantee you a spot at the Field Day.

What To Expect at the Field Day

At the Field Day, you will receive 4–6 hours of hands-on review and exercises, take a multiple-choice test covering your online studies and the day’s review items, and take a final hands-on demonstration test of the various skills reviewed.

If you pass with 80 percent on both tests during the Field Day, you will receive Hunter Education Certification. If you fail, you will have to pay another $15 to repeat the full online course.

Important Bring your Field Day Qualifier Certificate to the Field Day as proof of having completed the online course.

After attending and passing the Field Day portion of the hunter education requirement, you will receive your Missouri Hunter Education Certificate.
