About the Study Guide

This study guide is for Green Mountain Conservation Camp students or anyone who wants to review their hunter education. If you need a Hunter Education Certificate, you must pass the online course and the Homestudy Class.

All states have federal- or state-owned public lands that are available for hunting. Public lands may have regulations that control hunting on these properties and may require special permits. Check with your state's wildlife agency and get maps before you go.

  • National parks
  • National Wildlife Refuge properties
  • Bureau of Land Management properties
