The equipment you may use depends on the big game being hunted.

• Bear, Deer, and Elk:
  • Rifles and handguns using centerfire ammunition
  • Shotguns, including muzzleloading shotguns, using ammunition loaded with a single round ball or slug
  • Muzzleloading rifles and handguns that are .36 caliber or larger
  • Longbows, recurve bows, compound bows, and crossbows
• Turkey:
  • Shotguns with ammunition that are loaded with No. 4 shot or smaller
