The following public lands are open during statewide hunting seasons unless otherwise indicated:

  • TWRA lands that are not a Wildlife Management Area or a refuge
  • Tennessee State Forests

Before hunting on a federal refuge in Tennessee, contact the specific refuge to check on the hunting seasons, permit requirements, and other regulations. For a list of the federal refuges in Tennessee, refer to the Tennessee Hunting & Trapping Guide or the National Wildlife Refuges information on the TWRA website.
