The legal hours for hunting and trapping are as follows.

  • Crow, dove, duck (including early duck season), gallinule, goose, rail, turkey, Wilson’s snipe, and woodcock hunting: from one-half hour before legal sunrise to legal sunset; however, dove hunting begins at noon on opening day
  • Fox and rabbit chasing: 24 hours a day
  • Furbearer trapping: 24 hours a day
  • Bullfrog, opossum, and raccoon hunting: 24 hours a day
  • All other hunting: from one-half hour before legal sunrise to one-half hour after legal sunset
