Course Outline

The stock serves as the handle of the muzzleloader. It provides a structure to help the shooter aim and fire and also transfers the recoil from firing.

Forearm
The front part of the stock that extends under the barrel
Comb
The top of the stock where your cheek rests when aiming
Wrist
The area the hand grasps to pull the trigger
Butt
The part that you hold against your shoulder when shooting
