The Arkansas In-Person Exam

You must pass both the online and In-Person Exam portions of the Hunting education course in order to complete the Arkansas Hunting education requirements.

Locating and Signing Up for the In-Person Exam

After passing the online portion of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Hunting education course, you will need to locate and sign up for the required In-Person Exam.

Locate and sign up for the In-Person Exam in your area.

Important! Bring your Online Course Completion Voucher to the In-Person Exam as proof of having completed the online course.

Warning! Passing the online course does not guarantee you a spot at the In-Person Exam.

What To Expect at the In-Person Exam

This is 4–6 hours, depending on the amount of students attending and will include:

  • a classroom session
  • outdoor shooting
  • blood trailing
  • demonstrations of tree stand safety
  • survival skills

Most of the classroom topics will pertain to Arkansas-specific regulations and issues that are not covered in this online course. Be sure to have proper clothing for the outdoor sessions.

After attending and passing the In-Person Exam portion of the Hunting education requirement, you will receive your Hunter Education Certificate.
