To complete your hunter certification, you must attend a Field Day. Here's how:

  1. Purchase a Utah Hunter Education Registration Certificate ($10). You may purchase a registration certificate at any division office or licensed agent.
  2. Find a field day in your area at wildlife.utah.gov and contact the course instructor to sign up.
  3. Bring your Field Day Qualifier Certificate and Utah Hunter Education Registration Certificate to the Field Day.

At the Field Day, you must complete another test and demonstrate many skills such as loading and unloading different types of firearms, safely crossing fences, and other activities that all safe, responsible hunters should be able to complete.

Once these requirements have been met, you will receive your hunter education card.
