Official Montana Hunter Education Course

Welcome to the official online hunter education course of Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. Taking a hunting course will allow you to comply with Montana hunter education law and will also make you a safer and more knowledgeable hunter.

	Simple and self-paced—This hunter education course is user-friendly and self-directed. Study as much as you need to know, as slowly or quickly as you like to learn!
	Have fun learning with interactive animations, like this movie about how a firearm works.
	When you're ready, take the official Field Day Qualifier Exam. Upon passing, receive your Montana Field Day Qualifier Certificate. This certificate will grant admission to a Field Day, where you can complete the certification process.

What You'll Learn

Take a Montana hunter education course and:
