Game Calling and Scents
Game calling and scents use a variety of sounds and smells to draw game to you.
- Territorial sounds—a deer “rattling,” an elk “bugle,” or a turkey “yelp”
- Feeding sounds—a duck’s feeding “chuckle”
- Distress sounds—inviting coyotes, bobcats, or foxes to feed
- Attracting scents—for food or mating purposes
- Masking scents—to cover human odor
