Locating and Signing Up for the Final Classroom Course

After passing the online portion of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks hunter education course, you will need to locate and sign up for the required Final Classroom Course.

What To Expect at the Final Classroom Course

At the Final Classroom Course, you must successfully complete the remaining course requirements, which include: 4–6 hours of instruction, a field exercise, a live-fire exercise, and Mississippi’s Hunter Education Certification exam.

Important Bring your Online Course Completion Certificate to the Final Classroom Course as proof of having completed the online course.

After attending and passing the Final Classroom Course portion of the hunter education requirement, you will receive your Mississippi Hunter Education Completion Card.

Online Course Completion Certificate

The Mississippi Online Course Completion Certificate is proof that you have successfully completed the online portion of your hunter education requirement. Students must present the Online Course Completion Certificate at the Final Classroom Course to gain admittance.

Mississippi Hunter Education Completion Card

The Mississippi Hunter Education Completion Card is proof that you have successfully completed all the hunter education requirements and can legally hunt in the state of Mississippi. You will receive the Hunter Education Completion Card from the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks after successfully completing the Final Classroom Course.

Replacement

If you have already received the Mississippi Hunter Education Completion Card and need a replacement certificate, you can contact the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks at http://www.mdwfp.com/.

To replace a lost or destroyed Online Course Completion Certificate, log in to the course and print a new one.
