Mississippi Hunter Ed: Final 3-Hour Classroom Course Information

In order to complete the hunter education requirements for Mississippi, you must pass both the online and Final Classroom Course portions of the Hunter Ed Safety Course.

Follow the steps below to complete the certification process.

  1. Take the Online Course…

    Pass and pay for the online course. After completing the online course, students must attend a Final Classroom Course led by Mississippi DWFP instructors in order to complete the certification process.

  2. Sign-up for a Final Classroom Course…

    To register, contact your local Mississippi DWFP District Coordinator. ONLY a District Coordinator can arrange admittance. Find the District Coordinator contact information on the Mississippi DWFP website.

  3. Attend the Final Classroom Course

    Bring your Online Course Completion Certificate to the Final Classroom Course. At the Final Classroom Course, you will interact with the class instructor, participate in a live-firing exercise, and take the final state exam. After you successfully complete the Final Classroom Course, you will be issued your Mississippi Hunter Education Certificate.
