About the Course and Hunting License Requirements

In order to purchase a Michigan hunting license, all hunters born on or after January 1, 1960 need a Hunter Safety Certificate. If you are going out of state to hunt, most states will require your Hunter Safety Certificate, possibly even if you were born before January 1, 1960.
