Official Michigan Hunter Safety Course and Hunting License Test

Welcome to the official site for Michigan's independent study hunter education course approved by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Taking a hunting course will allow you to comply with Michigan hunter education law and will also make you a safer and more knowledgeable hunter.

	Simple and self-paced—This hunter safety course is user-friendly and self-directed. Study as much as you need to know, as slowly or quickly as you like to learn!
	Have fun learning with interactive animations, like this movie about how a firearm works.
	When you're ready, take the official Pre-Certification Exam for only $15. Upon passing, receive your Michigan Pre-Certification Exam Certificate, which admits you to the skills/field portion of instruction.
