Kansas Hunter Education Course and Field Day Qualifier Certification

Welcome to Today's Hunter in Kansas, an independent study hunting education course approved by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. State law requires anyone born on or after July 1, 1957 to complete a hunter education course before obtaining a hunting license in Kansas.

It's simple! 1 - Register for your Field Day first. Then, begin the hunter education course. Study at your own pace!
It's fun! 2 - Take the Kansas Hunter Field Day Qualifier Exam. Pay $19.50—one time only, after you pass.
It's official! 3 - Print out your Kansas Field Day Qualifier Exam Certificate—your "admission ticket" for a Field Day required to complete your certification.
