Florida Hunter Field Day Information

In order to complete the hunter education requirements for Florida, you must pass both the online and Field Day portions of the Hunter Ed Safety Course.

The Field Day is designed to be a hands-on, constructive learning experience that will include a 4-hour class, a test and a 3-hour range exercise.

Since Field Day options are limited, please ensure that a Field Day is offered in your area before taking the online course.

Follow the steps below to complete the certification process.

  1. Pre-register for a Field Day…

    Go to the Florida FWC hunter education web page to search for a Field Day in your area.

  2. Complete the Online Course…

    Students must complete the online course before their Field Day.

  3. Attend the Field Day

    Bring your Field Day Voucher to the Field Day. After passing the Field Day, you'll receive your Florida Hunter Education Certificate.
