California Hunter Safety Course and Hunting License Test

Welcome to the official online hunting course of the California Department of Fish and Game. The State of California requires all new hunters, regardless of age, to successfully complete a hunter education course before they can purchase a hunting license.

	2 - Take the California Hunter Pre-Certification Exam. Pay $19.50—one time only, after you pass.
	3 - Print out your California Pre-Certification Exam Voucher—your "admission ticket" for a 4-hour class required to complete your certification.
