Glassing and Flushing
Glassing takes advantage of a high vantage point that offers seclusion. A hunter may utilize high-powered binoculars or other optical devices that enable him to observe large areas of land and wildlife.
Once wildlife is observed, the stalking strategy may be employed.
"Spot and stalk" hunting is locating game from a distance and stalking it until you're close enough to harvest the animal.
Flushing involves using noise, movement, or dogs to cause game to become nervous and leave cover.
Pause frequently when attempting to flush game. By varying your pace, your quarry may think it has been detected and be more likely to leave cover.
