Iowa Hunter Education Requirements

Anyone born after January 1, 1972, must be certified in hunter education before they are eligible to purchase an Iowa hunting license.*
You must be 11 years or older to register for this course.
After passing the online course, you're required to attend a Field Day provided by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. (Check availability.)
